My name is Ilana Karp.
I have 5+ years of experience in the digital media industry, ranging from television, to editorial, to social media and social video.
Born and raised in South Florida, educated at the University of Kansas's award-winning school of Journalism and Mass Communications, and entering the workforce during the social media boom, I have a unique perspective and set of skills that have served me well in the digital journalism space.
In an industry and a world that's constantly changing, I, too, have learned how to be adaptable and utilize my skills across disciplines.
At the heart of it all, I am a storyteller. No matter what new medium or platform arises, my goal is always to tell a compelling story and connect with my audience.
